Juilene Osborne-McKnight is an American author, folklorist, and educator specializing in Celtic culture and history. She has an MFA from Carlow University. A professor emerita at DeSales University, she has written several Irish historical novels, including Bright Sword of Ireland, Song of Ireland, I Am of Irelaunde and Daughter of Ireland, as well as the nonfiction book The Story We Carry in Our Bones: Irish History for Americans. A traditional storyteller (seanchaí), she is dedicated to preserving Irish myths and legends. Her newest book is Storyteller: Irish Myths, Legends and Folktales for Americans, released in February 2025.
